The Apartment

The apartment was purchased in August 2007, and fully redecorated with most of the "white goods" also being replaced at this time.
Since then there have been some major refurbishments, with virtually nothing remaining from 2007.
The Apartment in General
For your added security & peace of mind, the apartment & contents are protected by a full alarm system.
In 2013 we added 2 independent air conditioning systems, one for the bedroom, and the other in the living room, followed in 2014 by a washing machine
which was added at the request of several of our guests, as well as a new fridge & freezer in 2019.
We have a different, and superior, TV system to most of the other apartments in Yucca Park. Our system is internet based, and therefore gives a better
picture which is not weather dependant, and also gives more (70+) UK channels, which can be viewed on the wall mounted Sony Smart TV.
We also provide our own internet Wi-Fi system within the apartment, for which there is a small charge. There is a phone in the apartment which
can be called from the UK. You can also make calls back to the UK at 10 cents per minute (as of Dec 22). There is
no timer and you are asked to put any money due for phone calls into the "Honesty Box". You will be given the full phone number before
arrival, and you are welcome to receive calls from friends or family.
The Bedroom
The large fully air-conditioned bedroom has a double bed with excellent memory-foam mattress, large bespoke wardrobes with drawers & shelves, large fitted
wardrobes (containing 2 FREE TO USE security safes), bed reading lights, ceiling fan, dressing table with illuminated mirror and double glazed "French
Windows" to small garden area. A hairdryer is also provided.
The Living Room
The Living Room contains a electric reclining leather sofa, an armchair & a single sofa bed with high quality memory foam mattresses.
There is a wall-mounted 55" LED TV receiving many British channels (BBC1-4, ITV1-4, Ch4, More4, E4, Ch5, 5Star, CBeebies, CBBC
& Sky News) some of which are HD, local TV as well as some limited satellite channels. There is also a Blu-Ray/DVD Player (DivX compatible) with selection
of DVDs, Hi-Fi System (with selection of audio CDs), and a "Media Device" with over 2,000 films for your FREE viewing pleasure. The "Media
Cupboard" contains games, DVDs, audio CDs etc.
There are 2 ceiling fans in the Living Room, as well as full air conditioning. There is also a booklet with full
instructions for the entertainment systems and all the other equipment in the apartment, as well as a list of the films & TV series' available on the media box.
The Kitchen
Completely renewed in 2009 & 2019 and separated from the Living Room by a
Breakfast Bar, the fully fitted open plan kitchen, comprises of a 4 ring ceramic hob, electric oven with grill, fridge,
kettle, freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine, and all crockery & utensils etc.
The Bathroom
Totally rebuilt in 2008, and updated in 2019, the fully fitted bathroom has bath/shower, sink, WC, Bidet, illuminated mirror/cabinet. In the cupboard under the
sink there is plenty of storage for all your toiletry essentials.
The Patio
The patio is tiled to a height of 1m, and has a high quality glass topped table with 6 chairs - perfect for dining al fresco. There
is also a reclining chair & sun lounger, as well as a foldable Clothes Drying Frame.

Yucca Park
Built in 1989 and renovated in 2003, the vast majority of the 98 apartments on this complex were timeshare, although most are now under private
ownership. This is one of a very few apartments in Yucca Park that has never been timeshare, and we have no association with any
timeshare operators, so no meetings, salesmen etc - this is a wholly privately owned apartment. The complex has the following facilities :

Close to many superb restaurants and bars, but the complex remains an oasis of peace.
The area of Fañabe - Nearby Attractions
Fañabe is the classier part of Tenerife, while remaining a short walk to most facilities. It is
served by the local bus service (nearest bus-stop is about 500m away) and also has a medical centre nearby.
It is sometimes hard to believe Fañabe is only a few miles from "Veronicas" as the two areas bear little resemblance to each
other. While Veronicas, and Las Americas in general attract the "lager brigade", Fañabe in contrast is much more upmarket,
and peaceful in nature. It has plenty of bars & restaurants etc. but caters more to a more family orientated holiday visitor.
